Chess

We are excited to announce that Polk County Scholastic Chess is bringing back Saturday tournaments this year, this means that Chess Club will now be goal-oriented with practices being held longer and teaching specific skills to help students excel at the tournament level. Beginners are still highly encouraged to participate as students will be taught lessons to help them learn and grow as chess players.

Builder's Club at Jewett will give students and opportunity to put together a plan to create community service. By working on these projects they will be able to use the hours for the MYP program at Jewett Middle.
